Terms of Service

By booking or using the sauna, you agree to the following terms and guidelines. These are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and relaxing experience for everyone.

All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk.

If you have any concerns regarding sauna use — including medical conditions, underlying health problems, pregnancy, or the use of prescription medication — please consult your GP or medical professional before booking a session.

Sauna Safety & Etiquette

To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, the following rules must always be followed:

• Remove shoes, sandals, or flip-flops before entering the sauna.
Sit on a clean towel at all times.
• Enter and exit the sauna carefully and respectfully.
• Keep access points clear so others can exit safely if needed.
• Remove jewellery before entering, as metal can become extremely hot and cause burns.
• Sauna sessions should be no longer than 20 minutes at a time.
• We recommend 5–12 minutes, followed by a cooling period outside.
• Do not touch the stove, stove cage, or sauna stones.
• Only pour the provided sauna water onto the stones. Nothing else may be used.
• Follow staff instructions when adding water to the rocks.

For everyone’s comfort and safety:

Alcohol is not permitted in the sauna.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted.
Nudity is not permitted — swimwear, towels, or appropriate sauna attire must be worn.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or end a session if behaviour poses a health or safety risk to others.

Personal Belongings

We cannot take responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to the sauna. Please keep valuables with you or avoid bringing them.

Cold Water Exposure

If a cold plunge, cold shower, or natural water source is available, participation is entirely at your own risk.

Cold water exposure carries inherent risks. You are responsible for ensuring that you are comfortable with cold exposure and aware of your own physical limits.

Never enter cold water alone and always exit if you feel uncomfortable or unwell.

Group Bookings

If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your group are aware of and agree to these terms and safety guidelines.

Children & Families

We warmly welcome families but ask that additional care is taken when bringing children into the sauna environment.

Age Guidelines

• Children aged 13 and over may attend sauna sessions when accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Children under 13 must be supervised at all times.
Children under 6 are not permitted in the sauna.

Supervision

Children must never be left unattended inside or around the sauna.

Adults are responsible for monitoring how a child responds to the heat. If a child shows any signs of discomfort such as:

• dizziness
• headache
• overheating
• fatigue

they should leave the sauna immediately and cool down.

Children should not touch the stove and should sit on lower benches away from the heater.

Staff reserve the right to end a session early if the health and safety of a child or other guests is compromised.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change and aim to be as flexible as possible while operating as a small independent business.

Rescheduling or Cancelling (48+ hours notice)

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 48 hours before the session using the link in your confirmation email.

Private Sauna Bookings

Private bookings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance will receive a refund minus a £3 administration fee (refunds must be processed manually and may take 5–10 days).

Community Sauna Sessions

Community sessions cancelled more than 48 hours in advance will receive a credit note as standard.

If you prefer a refund instead of a credit, please email us and we will arrange this subject to a £3 administration fee.

Late Changes (within 48 hours)

Bookings cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable and non-transferable.

However, if we are able to resell your space, we will do our best to move your booking to a later date, subject to a £5 administration fee.

Transferring a Booking

You are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend if you cannot attend.
Please inform us before the session so we can update the booking.
